Hes a wee bugger, massive holes in All of his nets 🙄🙄 think its just the effort with small holes lol 😂😂

Just bought two new ones £10 each 😮 , hope they last but i am gonna repair the other, just bought stuff to repair.. anyone else do that?

I feel your pain... G has eaten holes in at least three of the rather expensive, super small holed, trickle nets. She has very dextrous lips, but when you put the net in the first thing she does is open her mouth as wide as possible and bite it.

Yep mine too. Scuppered my attempts to slow down his eating as it was too expensive and I was worried it was starting a wind sucking type activity. I now put it loose on the floor so he can drag it around his stable 🙄

Mine has chewed a perfect face sized hole in all of her nets. It's quite comical watching her chomp away with half her head engulfed in the net. Completely pointless having the net though...

That's what mine used to do. Having a clear out the other day found 4 Shires haylage nets with nose shaped holes which I threw out. I now have some Martsnet which I bought 2 years ago and fingers crossed, no holes yet. Not saying they won't eventually but definitely lasted longer than the Shires, Eliminet and others I have tried.

They do come up small though so i wish I'd gone one size up. I can't overfill as if it doesn't close completely tight, he will try and eat from the top. It's the first thing he checks when I tie the haynet up. I got the small mesh, there is an even smaller holed one but a friend reckoned her horse found those too frustrating and swapped to the next size up.

We have 3 horses 2 are good with their nets but the other one is very violent when eating from a net. He snatches & pulls at it so hard that holes appear in it. I repair the holes for a while but eventually I give up and buy new nets. It gets to a point when the nets just gets so damaged that it needs throwing out.
