Our lab is now a year old. She chewed everything and anything as a young pup but it stopped over time. She never did it at night when she knew we were there, only in the day when she was left. She is with our other adult lab and has a dog flap to get outside. They now have a kennel which they are both left in in the day with a massive run.

She had started to chew she has started to chew again (after nearly 6
month of not doing it). She has chewed the inside of her kennel and anything she can get her jaws round in the utility room (where they sleep). She has started to do it over night which she never did as a pup.

No change of routine or diet

Any suggestions??

Thank you in advance!

Sounds like boredom do me. How often do you walk her? And do you leave her with plenty of toys to chew and play with?

Labs are notorious chewers and I'vs heard of one chew through a concrete wall. The sooner you nip it in the bud the less likely it will become a habit which will make it even harder to break.

when my dogs started chewing everything and anything in sight when they were 11/12months old - i was told thats because its the age when the adult teeth are bedding in or something like that. anyway its just a phase as it only lasted a couple of months and now they're 15 months and have stopped!
