as im only 16 i still hunt in tweed. i remeber seeing children of about 10 and 11 hunting in black and blue jackets...is this really the corect turnout for them as i always thought that children should hunt in tweed...or is that just me?

You should be in tweed until 18, however if kids want to come hunting and all they've got is a black/blue jacket (usually thin show jackets rather than hunt coats) then we won't be turning them away!

i personnally feel it depends on the child in question
for example, im 15 and ive worn tweed every season since i started, i started hunting when i was 7. and have gone out every saturday every season since then
so this season is my first season in a black jacket--ive also moved onto a horse.
and i feel that is okay, because im a big supporter of the hunt, i have proper hunt etiquet (sp?) and i have been hunting for 8 years. also our master thinks its great im in a black jacket now!
but i dont like seeing little kids of 11/12 who hunt every now and then and shoot about cutting everyone up wearing black.
