I'm looking for advice from mums whose young kids help out at the yard. Do you have any specific yard equipment for them, and if so where did you get it?

My 2 year old daughter comes up to the yard with me at the weekend, she has always joined in with the work as much as she is able but is only now really strong enough (and stable enough on her feet) for me to consider getting her a few bits. She already has a little broom and dustpan and brush (from Mothercare). She loves the dustpan and brush, but the broom is a bit pathetic (far too soft so can't actually sweep anything) and annoys her so she keeps trying to use the adult ones which are far too heavy. I did see a little folding wheelbarrow and a more practical looking broom at B&Q at the weekend (branded 'Little Garden Angels') but they were all damaged unfortunately, and I haven't had much luck online (it all seems to be gardening sets, and I don't really need a trowel and hand fork etc).

Is there anywhere that sells yard equipment like this for young children? Also, anywhere that does toddler-sized gardening / rubber-palmed gloves for poo picking (she currently takes her gloves off for it and gets cold hands, or tries to wear adult ones which really doesn't work!).

I got a cheapo broom from wilko's, & just cut the stick in half. Will have to double check the brand, got some rubber palmed gloves, but daughter was 5 or so at the time so not sure how small they go. Had a toy barrow from argos or somewhere, then an old trug as a skip. For a fork she just made attempts with a normal lw short handled one.
