My small person is 6yo, and has been out a couple of times this year (Readyfield hound exercise and Rockwood intro day). She's just about outgrown her tweed which is a lovely thick warm one, unfortunately I bought it 2nd hand and it hasn't any labels.

I've been to all of the local tack shops, and the selection has varied from one, to many jackets, but they are all very fine wool or wool mix showing type jackets (and rather snug fitting). Also sent nanny off to Ingatestone and they haven't any warm ones either.

Does anyone know where I can find a good quality thick wool jacket to keep her cosy please?

I'm afraid I was going to suggest tack shop 2nd hand rails. Although I had a sudden brain wave - what about asking some parents of older children with your hunt weather they would want to sell the outgrown jackets.

I know at that age my jackets/boots etc came and went between groups of friends.

As for makes - I have a heavy Mears tweed and Rosette navy jacket, so they could be names to look for on ebay.
