good riding club but if you want to get onto the teams it's a closed shop as it were

used to be a member but got fed up with diamond centre car parking for competitions and am definitely off their other normal venue - Hengest Farm - as my horse 'fell' into a hidden hole there in June and tore a hindquarter muscle and has been off competing for 6 months and is only coming back in end nov.

I joined another local r.club with their own field and jumps at L'head

much less 'clicky' and if you want to do teams you are more than welcome to - no 'closed shop' there

plus the ground for dressage is dead flat and the teams seem to do well - at least the dressage ones seem to qualify for most things one way or another.

and my horse in many years has never been injured at that field - unlike Hengest !!

They do lots of events and i used to be a member until my old horse had an accident at hengst (not their fault though!). They have a pretty varied timetable but would agree with airedale - very cliquey!
