This is a long shot but I'm looking for info about a welsh mountain pony I sold in 1979. He was 9 when he was sold. 12.2 grey gelding. Show name Chirk Doolittle,Dooley at home.
He was sold in the County Durham area from Seaton/Seaham.
He was the best pony I ever had and I won many competitions BSJA, gymkhanas ,hunter trials etc,he was an all rounder.
He had to be sold as I got too big for him.
I just like to no his history after I had him,how we'll he did and where he ended up.

Bit of a long shot but approx 15 years ago there was a lovely (ancient) little grey pony called Dooley at Margaret Headly's riding stable In Sunniside near Willington, County Durham.
I remember he was very much loved by the children learning to ride but was terrified of black bags.
