Which is better for general maintenance for an older horse. No significant diagnosis of anything, a few age related niggles and stiffness. Just want to make sure the horse is comfortable. Horse if fully retired and he is not ridden. I’ve noticed rugs sliding to one side so would like to get him looked at. Will of course ask for vet permission but wonder if physio or chiro is best for this situation?

I honestly think there's good and bad in both, the lady that I use now has been a godsend (vet recommended her) and I think she began as a physio first but has then done several add on training courses in both chiro and massage so has a huge bag of tricks to adapt to what's in front of her. I've seen and heard some real horror stories of chiro / massage / physio / back people who are very firmly rooted in just one type of training.
