Is anyone else a member of chit chat and tack on facebook, do you actually find it useful or do you stay on it just for the laugh?
I find it so irritating but I just cannot bring myself to remove myself from the group because its so entertaining what people post!
Also why are the admins so cocky :D

Haha im the same as you, i only stay for a laugh but sometimes its frightening how utterly clueless some horse owners are!

Both these reasons. I have gone OMFG for a few posts recently

I look on it very rarely, and tend to come off after a couple of scrolls. But like you, can't bring myself to come off it :D

Saying that though, a couple of my friends provide enough, heart stopping, horse related antics so I don't really need Chit Chat and Tack!

I go on it every now and again for a laugh, like people who aren't exactly the best artists charging £60 a portrait:eek: Never joined though, don't think I could bring myself too or I'd never be off it!

I had to ban myself from it - because I couldn't help getting into scraps on it! I still lurk, because it's absolutely priceless entertainment!

I love how pig oil is a miracle cure for just about everything ! and when you read an arsey comment and you know shits going down so put your feet up and grab the popcorn

I find it quite helpful sometimes, as I'm new to everything.
But they get SO bitchy and it's like lemmings on my feed- one person asks about something (eg atm it's E&L insurance and blue food colouring in shampoo) and there's a million people all asking the same thing!

If it moves right = HOYS contender
If it doesn't = 'back man' then turmeric
If it's spooking = communicator
If it's grubby = blue food colouring in shampoo
If it's any shade between grey and bay = sooty buckskin
If it's won a rosette = there were two dozen in the class
If it hasn't won a rosette = it's all a big fix
If it's biting = you don't love it enough
If you are hopelessly incompetent = awwww Hun well done you
If you sound like you know what you're doing = youz a knowitall
If you argue = youz a hater

Pretty accurate. Funny!

Cant believe people are complaining that they weren't the 'ones' to rescue some wondering horses. Surely they should been grateful they are now caught and safe but no.........................

I flicked through it earlier before going to do the horses. It always guarantees 10 minutes of giggles.
The admins of horses for sale and loan UK made me leave the group. They thought they were demi-gods! Asking which admin you'd most like to meet etc.. Erm...

Im on it for a laugh but I do occasionally answer posts if people are being really useless !

I agree with above I dont understand how people cant work out if half the skin is ripped off their horses leg It needs a bloody vet !!

I actually got banned! Seems admin didn't like my comments :( ....I dared to suggest someone call a vet rather than asking advice on a fb page!!

The Equine Rant Group is also good for a giggle. Some people make regular appearances, they should probably just chill out

Did anyone see the one earlier about a horse bolting/shivering/sweating and the owner couldn't afford a vet?!
Horse ended up being PTS a few hours later although I don't know the ins and outs. I'm on it purely for the ****s and giggles but I have gasped a few times.
