Chocking ( excuse spelling)

Sorry yes, do mean choking :o

my boy has done it a couple of times, to no great degree, and his feed is always damp due to SB being in it, but I know of a few that for some reason this year ( have not done it previously), that have been in a real state, I have suggested soaking their feed, but because they have not choked before it falls largely on deaf ears!!!

I also think this, as the grass is getting less adiquate. I am glad that it is not just me that thinks they are getting too excited for their feed, I was starting to think I was getting far to soft in me old age :)

So to the next question what would you do? I have been trying to rub it down, or if it feels quite big, giving it a thump and walking them around. Not sure if this is correct but it seems to work

my boy choked on haylage was tied outside being clipped when the lawnmower(driven by yard owner-horsey) came around corner and made him jump, must have swallowed funny and hey-presto a 30 min choking episode :(
