My lurcher has just snaffled about 4 or 5 squares of dairy milk. She seems fine atm but what should I watch out for if its going to be a problem, is there any thing I can do to alleviate any effects?
Assuming an adult dog of reasonable weight, she is likely to be fine. The problem is more with the dark chocolate with high levels of cocoa solids. However, if she has literally JUST eaten it then you could make her sick to be on the safe side. Sodium carbonate. (NOT bicarb.) Alternatively, ring your vet and they will advise and be able to give her something to induce vomiting.
