Choke or nosebleeds?

We had a youngster start with choke when we were plaiting up for the show (6yrs ago). YO daughter is a vet said he looked Ok so we took him & he was fine!!

Ive had 2 choke with me a welsh section c mare & a shire x, both cleared by tubing up the nose, pretty terrifying though, both bled afterwards, the shire x had small airways for a big horse and the pipe really scraped his mucous membrannes and whiles sedated stood dripping into a bucket for hours , oh and he got he vet back wearing a white jumper, he sneezed and splattered her with blood !!!!!
