My TB gelding has started to constantly chomp on his bit when standing still or walking and it's starting to really bug me. Can anyone tell me why horses do this? He has only started it since coming back to work after a 6 week holiday; he never did it before. His teeth were done in March and he is ridden in a loose ring single-jointed snaffle.
