As above - has anyone used him and opinions?

I have contacted him re helping with my horses separation anxiety, and was impressed by his website.

My only concern is that he names Pat Parelli as one of his mentors (!) but also follows Natural Horsemanship methods which I am more comfortable with.

Thanks

He worked with my horse who was dangerous to the point of being put down.
Worked wonders on him, methods slightly more hands on than what you see with Parelli, I recommend him for the slightly less 'sensitive' horse who needs putting in their place

I saw him do a demo quite a few years ago and wasn't impressed. There was a lot of Parelli in there and his presentation skills weren't good, but he might have improved since then. Hope you get feed back from more people whose horses he has worked on. Why don't you arrange to go and see him working on horses, then see how you feel about the way he does it?
I'm always sceptical of people's websites, they can put whatever you want and there was one "natural trainer" whose website sounded great. When it came down to it she had been to a couple of demos and thought she would try her hand at it - not much use except relieving folks of their hard earned cash.

If this is the person I think it is, I'm not impressed with his 'finished' product knowing someone I think sent their horse there and how he came out

Yes, I've seen this before too. Someone I know of routinely telling the world they are an "experienced classical dressage instructor" (this isn't the person we've both had lessons with at your yard, Jill BTW) because they read Heather Moffat's book, had a weekend away having lessons on her mechanical horse and thought they'd try teaching it themselves.

People can say anything they like on their websites, you need to go and see them in RL to make a judgement. And IME most people are full of s***! ;)
