(not a dig at you Twinkeltoes but) Not much of an update... that is the most pathetic trashy excuse for journalism that I have read in a long time.

I read the article in the Mail and, I agree, as a piece of journalism it was poor in the extreme. It seemed like the journalist just hawked around the village speaking to anyone who might have a bit of gossip to pass on. There was no substance to the article and somehow it was fleshed out to about three pages. Quite frankly it was embarrassing to read.

A finer example of tabloid - especially Daily Mail - crap, you will find it hard to read.

I read it and could find no reason to it at all, again not a reflection on you at all twinkletoes
. It seemed to go from someone wanting to speak to the inner circle and find out the truth, to someone trying to actually become that inner circle by going shooting etc.
It was all over the place and completely pointless as the guy is dead so we will never know exactly what went through his mind. Completely selfish act but perhaps in his warped way of thinking he could not face his family losing everything so took it all with him. Cannot be justified at all but people who are in certain frame of minds cannot justify any of their actions even though they think they can.
I do not like the sister coming forward now either saying that he had a zillion mistresses, but her sister loved him all the same. What is the point of that? It can only cause pain to those who are left behind regardless of which side of the family they are on. Her sister married him and seemed happy with him, it is not for her to comment and gain money from her comments after their death...
