and no doubt the final punishment of toni andre hansen will shortly appear. you will note from all the differnt sentence lengths and the miniscule amounts discovered why the IJRC want a return of threshold levels......

Don't you feel the SJ's have been hit hard with punishment compared to Courtney K-D with Mythilus (US dressage team). The SJ's mostly have admitted to the substance being used somewhat niaevely. At least they all came clean and told the FEI the source of each individul case - Equibloc; Rug Spray, etc.

Yet the Felbinac found in Mythilus COULD have been far more influential on the horses performance. Yes it was a very low amount but still it was a NASAID and not an extract that mostly springs to mind was a "natural" substance in many, many products not just those designed to enhance performance.

yes i do because my personal experience leads me to believe at least a proportion of them were stupid not cheating and in most cases it was just a trace that was found which would indicate it had nothing to do with sensitising horses legs as you need to do that so close to testing and therefore the levels for it would have been much higher. Rodrigo's horse was tested immediately after jumping its last round for example. Not likely to have such a low positive if it was being used as anything nasty in those circumstances is it.
