Well I have had a nasty shock, went to buy some new jods and have had to go up a size!
Also why are all jods designed for 6ft tall people, I have to turn the bottoms over a couple of times and All boots seem designed for people with thin calves. Off to stock up on salad .

I would say the opposite, all of the riding boots I try fit like wellies. Jodh's are ok as I use kids ones which have a shorter leg length.

I suppose there is one benefit of being little ;)

Oh dear, hope you are back to your normal size soon! I am feeling quite smug today, I was brave and put on my 'skinny' jods (stiff, rigid material, can barely breathe with them on, etc) and they fit like a glove  Probably a one-off, though, and they'll be back to being evil tomorrow.

I am the same regarding boots, all the ones i like and try on are like wellies round my carves. I get fed up looking for jods and jeans which dont fit. only my bromonts fit.

I have always stuck to gaiters/short boots but got some HKM long boots this year - not expensive and fit beautifully :) Though wouldn't suit someone tall and skinny; I'm only 5'3"

haha I'm on the fitness / weight loss programme too :(

However, I find all jodhs designed for midgets - seriously some brands are like breeches on me  And the same for long boots - they're too short, so they hang off my lower calf and cut in at the widest point

I was really chuffed the other day - got some Christmas money for for posh breeches. Not only could I splurge on some nice Pikeur breeches but I've also dropped a waist size.
However I must have skinny lower legs as I found most breeches were baggy around my knees / shins (hoping it won't show once I have boots on)

Well I started a kind of excercise programme yesterday. A friend of mine does this awful thing called the Insanity workout and although I can do the whole thing if I try, it makes my entire body seize up as I'm just not fit enough  So my aim is to do the warm up (it's quite hard for a warm up if you ask me!!) and the first lot of stretches most days. It takes under 20min, makes me sweat but doesn't leave me in huge amounts of pain for days afterwards so I think it's about right. I'm also eating/drinking a lot of soup at the moment. I really like it, it fills me up and it's healthy - win win win! I'm also planning on drinking less after New Years as apparently alcoholic drinks are hugely calorific.
Also need to recommence stomach excercises as I most definitely wobble there more than usual :(

They're Mark Todds. I like them too - took me ages to find ones to fit
Poor Nitty

I went to pick up the ball at horseball training this morning and almost pulled Fergs over  Grazing muzzle and small amounts of soaked hay in double nets only here please :(

Have you spotted how my OH is almost as vile to me as my mother is? I think I have a problem :(

As of Tuesday I'll be on the the double netted soaked hay too! No point trying whilst I'm still of work on sitting on my (very) far arse watching telly as I eat continuously whilst not entertained!

Yes I had noticed - you just seem to attract vileness from people :p Or maybe it's a subconscious longing to keep vileness in your life now you've moved out away from your mother

I have the same problem. TV's shocking this year though. I think if I put it off til I go back to work I will have been struck down with laminitis and shot though :(

LOL! I've decided on the empty the house of all evil food tactic tonight ... this includes any stray alcohol, chocolate, peanuts ... hmm , the purpose is to create a starvation paddock in which I will be using my grazing muzzle to ensure that anything that looks greener on the other side can only be eaten in moderation. I shall be sleeping on a non edible woodchip bed as of tomorrow.

PS appologies in advance if the horse I'm going to view on Monday is owned by an HHO'er but if so it will be a fair test of whether your advertising statement of 'good bone' is true :D
