This morning we were innocently opening our presents. One present, then the next present, then the next present, round the circle of family in an orderly fashion (disorderly comes later in our house 
) My daughter got a toy stable, with horse and tack, which she was really happy with.
So after the presents had all been opened it was the one that was being played with for most of the morning. Horse in stable, horse out of stable, bridle on, saddle on.
Meanwhile, the adults had retreated into their coffee mugs. All except my MIL. She is always interested in the kids and their hobbies so she went over to see what my daughter was playing with.
"Is that the horse's tackle?"
Cue intense effort not to spit out the coffee!
