Hi All,
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
Ive recently bought a new horse whom i am working towards competing next year. For my wish list for Christmas, i am going to suggest some bits for Showing/Competing!
I have been out of the showing game for around 3 years, and know times and riles have changed since then!
I have a 16.2 Liver Chestnut KWPN Reg. mare, 11 years old. She has done dressage before so moves fancy in the school.
The classes i am hoping to do are as follows; Unsure what others i can do with her though? Like i say, out of the game! Any idea's?
-Riding School/club horse
- In hand hunter over 15.3
-Ridden hunter over 15.3
- Working hunter
- SJ
I know that for the hunter classes, clothing tends to be tweed jackets, yellow jods and log boots etc but unsure on the other classes. I will need a whole new wardrobe for all (May have the odd stock lying around)
Can anyone recommend any other shows i can take my mare into, essentials i need to buy for the shows i.e navy show jacket, white jods etc and also for the working hunter, colour idea's to suit my liver chestnut?
What hats are best for SJ? Someone i know mentioned a skull, but not sure which type!
