Shall we start a new thread for the Christmas racing? We have Ascot tomorrow, the big one (and a very exciting supporting card) at Kempton on Boxing Day and several days of top class Irish racing at Leopardstown and Limerick. Topped off by Cheltenham on New Year's Day. Yippeee! Time to crack open the port and light the fire.

No Gerri Colombe or Royal Pagaille in the King George. Still a good field, but getting smaller... :(😬

Yes I like Royal Pagaille too. He just gets in with things or gives that impression. I’m probably just with Dashel Drasher but equally happy for Paisley Park. Just generally an amazing bunch of gorgeous horses due to run. May go to Kempton. Don’t really do crowds but even when busy there are a few quiet stops to watch from.

Gonna be watching alot of racing I think during the Christmas week, I don't actually really watch it aside from a replay or if it went viral on racing twitter 😂 or interested in that horses pedigree

Not at that level but my Chris Honour RC horse Time to Bite won yesterday at Exeter.

I’m going to Taunton on 30th December and Exeter on New Years Day 😊
That is such a fun meeting at Taunton and usually packed 😊

My OG horse is running on Boxing Day hopefully, at either Kempton or Aintree so fingers crossed I might see it on Tele for once.

I’m at home today so will be watching and placing my 25p bets. 😄. Working every day next week so I’ll watch it in the evening, but that’s not the same.
ETA it has to be the Drasher in the Long Walk. 😍.
I am also going to Taunton on the 30th, hopefully one of mine (and STR’s) horse is running. Entries today I presume?

Just picked St John’s Road as the pretty horse with a nice name in the 12 o’clock at Newcastle. Finished second at 33-1. No financial investment here though.

King George looks a cracking race. I love Allaho and Shiskin. Frodon and Hewick are legends. The Real Whacker would be a fab win for a smaller yard and Bravemansgame is some horse. Frodon has won over a £1 million so he’s in a pretty impressive group.

All of them have question marks by their name, makes it very hard to pick a winner but I think I’m going with Bravemansgame to retain his crown.
