Really interested to know who buys Christmas Presents for their dogs, cats, horses and other pets. Do you wrap them too?

I have to admit I do, although they always get everything they need/want, including treats. I even wrap most of them, Then I wonder why I do it!

So, what about you guys?

My sisters always buy the dogs a present so I have given in and buy my dog and their dogs stockings from Guide Dogs. Ponies need new head collars as they have nearly outgrown current size. Will give them an apple or two in their feed in as Xmas treat. I don't give hand treats as they are young and soon learn to expect things.

My dog usually gets balls for Christmas. This year he has some tennis balls and a cuddly reindeer. I wrap them because he loves to unwrap presents, and is hilarious to watch him! He gets very excited by tennis balls!

For the cats I have got a packet of Dreamies each. I must admit sometimes I don't bother with the cats as they are not bothered! They might get a bowl of fish or left over turkey etc as a present instead.

I always used to give the pets a stocking each, but now that I have a child I just can't afford it any extras. I don't even buy for friends/family any more, only the kids in the family and my boyfriend, everyone else gets home made chutney!

The horses will get a large turnip each for overnight in their stables, but the two cats, dog and tortoise don't get anything. The tortoise isn't fussed lol and the cats will go mad with all the wrapping paper, cardboard boxes and endless tinsel to play with, and the dog will no doubt get lots of leftovers from dinner, so that's them sorted ;)

My pony had a new numnah, some likit treats and peelings from Christmas dinner. My puppy had a soft squeaky toy which she destroyed in 15mins :(. She also got a kong and a few left overs from Christmas dinner. My rabbits got some chew toys and a couple of carrots.
