obviously i am prepared to be corrected by people whose knowledge is greater than mine but as i tried to say in the other thread nothing had definately been decided til she had seen her doctor again the day before yesterday regarding her participation in express eventing. millicent also tried to make this point. however i hear she had another proceedure yesterday at the hospital and though not officially withdrawn as far as i know is looking highly unlikely to make it. which will be a great shame but there you go.

Just got back from seeing her and following her 6th operation this week and advice from the Doctors she will not be riding at Express Eventing and is not allowed to ride for another 4 weeks.

Do you know why she had to undergo that many?
It's a shame she won't be able to ride at Express eventing. Hope she'll feel better soon and thank you for the update x
 
Sounds awful!!
I'm recovering at present from a puncture wound on thigh (from a kick rather than a tread), and was threatened at one stage with an op to clean up the edges (if it didn't stop bleeding). However after ten days of bleeding, it started to close over, and I am now nearly 100% again. Six ops sounds very serious!

I am hoping SC that that that snide comment was not aimed at me because i think you will find that actually i was trying to keep the peace. Please tell me what exactly does she need an apology for because as it happens her post was not accurate at the time because as we tried to gently point out there was a doctors appointment that day and until then a further op had not been decided. as far as i know cinda only withdrew today so infact her post wa not correct at the time of posting.
and also Milicent is better informed than all of us about it (she saw Cinda today and has been in regular contact) and like myself we didnt think it was right to say someone so popular had definately withdrawn before it was definately decided. if you bothered to look you would see that i did say her participation, on the evidence of my own eyes, looked highly doubtful, but the lady herself was still determined to ride.
