I think I can safely speak for both of us when I say that monkeybum and I had an AMAZING time! We only had one pair of numpties gallop past (would have thought the 17hh youngster bouncing sideways would have been a hint to go past slowly, not to mention my bellowing at them asking them to pass slowly, but no!) but otherwise everyone was very couerteous and we certainly enjoyed ourselves.

The ground was lovely and the jumps fabulous. I am very proud to say that Genie and I jumped pretty much everything (missed out some small ones towards the end) including the big hay cart! She was a superstar. Lacey was also very good but I will let mb tell you about her!

So who else went and did you have a good time?
 
We had lots and lots of fun!!!!!!!


Very pleased with Lacey who jumped everything I asked her to. I did have a wuss moment and pulled out of the trakhener at the last moment when I spotted the ditch! :o
Also very pleased she came back easily after a gallop seeing as she was only in the loose ring and cavesson.

Genie was on fire, she was fantastic!


miss_c was on the gorgeous D and I was one the mad big bay thing that bounced the whole way round if anybody saw us?

I wish I went but have been 'revising' all day!

Sounds like you guys had an awesome time and some lovely piccies on FB. :D

I hope to take Andy there sometime when I'm not hugely busy. :)

Ahah yes hacking there is pretty good! :-)
We did 11 miles today in 1hour50 with OH running!
I put a thread yesterday for anyone wanting to hack there tomorrow, so if anyone is up for it let me know!
 
I went :D
Jumped everything except for the chair- so if you see a pony on his knees at it in the photos then it's me ;)
Very proud of him though as he flew over the ditches (I've never got him to jump them for me before), the hay cart and every other fence on the course (jumping the bigger one if there was an option)
Haven't stopped gushing about how fabulous he was since we got in the car to go home xD
 
She literally didn't shut up haha :op Had good reason not too though the way Comet was jumping. Had a fab time & chuffed to bits with Maiseys gutsy enthusiasm for the jumps!

Bring on October!!!

I think I was hugging his neck screaming good boy at him when we were mid-air over that hay cart :D
Can't fault Maisie's enthusiasm, it's a shame about her style xD
