Citreon Relay Horsebox Conversion - size horse?

If you have one of these convertions, what size horse/s do you carry in it?

I'm trying to work out of it's big enough for my new three year old 15.3hh ID.

I am looking at this type of box for my 17.3 so you should be ok! I previously travelled my giraffe neck 16.2 and he was fine.

I put a post on here recently looking for advice with regard to travelling a big horse in these type of boxes and many people told stories of themselves/ friends travelling horses unto 18hh

I have looked at a few and the height tends to be from7ft4 to 7ft9 depending on build

What about body length? He's half a rib too long - in fairy steps hes 6.5 and the lorry space is 7.25 (I'm very technical lol).

Im sure you will have enough length.

Different builds have different layouts some have adjustable breast bars others have no adjustably as they are solid walls and others like the stallion builds don't have anything at all until the wall for living space

Update: Just back from practice load with friend's chunky 16.2hh TB.

It was fine. Plenty of space for him.

So now I've stopped wittering and I'm more than happy with my little lorry. I have to say, the dealer (Horseboxes.com) has been brilliant throughout, offering to loan the lorry, swap for a different one, sell this one for me. Definitely brill service, for which I thank Andrew as I've been a wittering pita.
