Citronella

I am currently looking to get some citronella oil to stock up on the homemade fly spray, do i need the aromatherapy stuff in the 10ml bottle?

I use to just ask for it over the counter at the chemist. They asked me if i knew how to use it, but once i said it was for horses and i was going to dilute it with water, they were fine. I use to get a few bottles at a time.

Its just pure citronella oil. I do get mine in 10ml bottles. Cheapest place is usually the chemist.

I think you mean do you need the aromatherapy stuff which is really concentrated or the more dilute stuff from the chemist? If you are making up fly spray, just the stuff from the chemist will be fine. I get it in 100ml bottles. I suppose you could use the aromatherapy stuff but you wouldn't need as much - i think!

I get 100 ml bottles, along with the rest of my essential oils in the same size. With two big hairy horses and making a litre of spray a week, 10 ml would last me no time.

Getting the larger bottles saves me money as I buy in bulk and get trade prices from essential oils direct.
