Also planning to take non horsey friend so will there be other things to occupy him? thanks

Loads of shopping for country attire, shooting, dogs, horses, masses of displays. I recommend it and will be there too

I'm going either Friday or Sunday. Never miss it, but make sure the bank account is healthy as you can easily spend LOADS of money!! Not the world's greatest for anything horsey, but a terrific country day out with everything you can think of going on. It's quite a tiring day so wear comfy shoes.

Great day out - even better as a weekends camping with friends. As previously said not very "horsey" but loads to see do and eat. My husband loves it and so does my son and they hate horses! Well worth a visit.

We are going! Its a great day out with something for everyone (apart from anti's) Comfy shoes are a must as well as big shopping bags. We usually take a picnic as its typical overpriced show food and hopefully OH will have learnt the error of pigging vast quantities of (very rich ) buffalo ice cream...
