cla game fair

We went a few years ago and it was the most wonderful day. Expensive but real value for your money.
 
I am going fri plus one other day! there is a travel lodge at Alcester only 2 miles from ragley. stratford upon avon and Evesham are also very local. accommodation depends on what you are after budget wise..
 
Fantastic show, we go every year. Premier inn at hockley Heath is where we stayed last time it was at ragley hall. Think you will struggle big time to get any accommodation local this close to the show dates. Good luck
 
There's no showjumping etc but lots of displays and it's a brilliant show. You need at least two days to get round it. Something for everyone and FAB shopping!!!
 
Feathered - there are displays like quarter horse reining and jive pony but it isn't really an equine event per se. More shooting, gun dogs and fishing orinentated really. Fabulous country show though, you honestly can't appreciate how big it is until you've been. Takes at least 2 full days to go round all of it.
 
Most places are booked out by now if they are within driving distance - the cost of staying at the CLA site itself is scary ! A friend of mine is staying at the waterspout/outdoor place at Upton Warren for the 4 days, only about 20 minute drive from Ragley.

I'm going on the friday this year - can't really afford both that and the saturday, especially if I want to do some shopping !
