Just wondered - when and what for??

Me and Badger got a whole half page out hunting!!

I was well chuffed!! Also got another little hunting pic on my welsh D years ago, and an open TC pic on my mums horse - I'm thinking hunting and TC is an easy way into H&H!

A few times but again hunting and TCing! Many years ago a local team chase had a notorious massive hedge with an even more massive drop on a steep downhill. My 13.2hh pony was the only one to clear it and stand up that day! If I had walked the course I would never have attempted it! Definitely felt and looked as if we were never going to land and we got a massive pic in H&H. I hooked my stirrup leathers up holes for seasons to hunt her trying to convince myself I wasn't too big for her!
 
Not in H&H but did write a couple of articles (3 pages each) for Eventing magazine on experiences as a first season eventer (back in 2000). It was supposed to be a regular feature but unfortuneately i lost the horse I was eventing.
 
I've been in the very small print on the results page on the odd occasion and I've had a few letters printed in Horse magazine.
My friend once made the cover of H&H out hunting and also there was a picture of her jumping a hedge out with the Zetland inside the same issue.
Another friend used to be in all the time when she was SJing at top level and still gets the odd mention now as she owns a horse competed by Keith Shore.
 
Various dressage reports with occassional photos, however during the worst of the Foot & Mouth crisis when there were no competitions to report on, they did a full page feature on me which was unexpected and very nice.

Only in the results section....

Finnus was in a feature on feeding Comp Horses with problems, with advice for Colic.

Am going to be in Horse Mag in November with another forum member......

Have been in the results section at the back several times both showing and dressage but I aim to get a mention in the main magazine one day.

I'm still waiting for the Steven Smith master class I did with Ed to appear. I'm told it will be soon

I've been in a couple of times, small snipets in comp. reports. and once i had a huge half page pic, with the headline "West is Best" when i won a championship at the BSPS Champs.
I also managed to get a mention in the gossip coloum in 'Eventing' mag. when i got the ride on my own horse back, not sure how they found out about it, but it made me laugh, as it said nothing about the fact that i'd owned him since he was a 5yr old.
 
Winston and I have been in it, in the summer problems feature.
We should be in most of the equestrian magazines now too as we are the new faces of FreezeMark - well not exactly but they are using the pics of winston and I for their advertising

I've been in the results a few times, been quoted in an article, and have had at least five letters published over the years.
Never had a pic (thank God)..
Oh and one of my greatest pleasures every week, lots and lots of people I've taught over the years have had massive coverage including the front page!
Even though some were very early on in their career's, it makes me feel warm inside when I see them do well!

Only the results section but have had a couple of mentions in the Eventing mag reports... and once to my horror had a full page pic of me looking rougher than rough plus a couple of smaller ones in Horse Mag for an article about a certain person I was working for at the time - so embarrassing!!
 
Bananaman dare you say? Who you are? You are all so good, me small person, I have had a letter in about dominance and that one should dominate horse or its dangerous, etc... also ,the edge of a hem of a jacket when grooming for showing friend!!
 
i first appeared in 1995 in the results section with zizz as a foal at malvern. have been in every year since then, but thankfully no picture yet!
 
Rosie's been in twice this year I think - with photos. Once when she won her first point to point and then recently when she won her section at PC Champs.
 
Archie has been in for the YH Class that i won, we had a whole column about us

Had loads of results in the back for both Bloss and Archie.

Bloss has been in BD mag with piccie and a small writeup, and also in Horse Mag with a piccie and quite a large write up

Ive also been in my local paper quite a few times aswell with farious wins.

I think Miss Gossip comes on the here as in last months eventing she made a comment about cliques on a forum

Yes, there was a picture of me at Badminton (ok, so I was actually standing by the fence when they took it, as opposed to going over it!). It was years ago, and I was wearing some brightly patterned shorts and pink sunglasses...very fetching!!
 
I have had my name in the results a few times but yet to get a mention in a report.

Did have the working riders piece last week which will have to keep me going for a while.

I was in the dressage bit years ago when I won a novice class at a BD show with my old horse. We even had a headline which I got very excited about, the horse was called Preacherman so the headline read 'Preacherman answers prayers' bit corny I know but I was so proud!!!!

I've just featured in eventriders.com and eventingworldwide.com following our win at Draycott, pics as well so more excitment!!!

i've been in the eventing results and BD and BSJA results, just tiny print. had a couple of letters printed, incl. letter of the week. been the biggish centrefold pic in Eventing magazine once on my lovely Advanced mare, bless her. btw centrefold doesn't give quite the right impression, does it?

Only in the little results bit both on current horse and previous pony.

We've got a pic and write up in last months Your Horse though in a bedding feature (only little pic though)
