I'd be interested I hearing from anyone who has claimed on their horse insurance for personal injury.

I broke my leg a couple of years ago and thought little of it, however I'm now having a lot of hip pain and have just been diagnosed as having fully torn my hip cartilage. I think the best op (keyhole) may not be offered locally by my NHS trust and I really don't want the full open hip surgery!

I am with pet plan.

Any thoughts?

I claimed when I broke my ankle, they paid £60 for each day I was hospitalised. Then £50 a week for the first six months then £100 a week for the final few weeks. I don't know what I would have done without it as I couldn't work and at the time only got statutory sick pay

It will depend on what you have on your plan and whether you had included personal injury as it's not standard. Also check on your timescale and if you are covered exactly what you get but certainly worth exploring

2 yrs is a long time, I suspect they would have paid out if you had started the claim earlier. Will be difficult to prove this is to do with your original injury.
