My pony is having to go for xrays and nerve blocks next week for lameness. Do I have to let the insurance company know now that she is going for them?

If your planing to make a claim, then yes. Had the vet out to mine last night and it's going to be an insurance job, and he stressed that i must inform my insurance company first thing this morning about it.
