Clancy did not move from where we put her in her stall last night. Her legs were extremely swollen and she was in pain. She couldn't bend her legs to walk. We had the vet come out and he said he thinks she had a terminal cancer that the other vets did not catch. We had to have Clancy put down this morning because we wanted to end her pain. I feel terrible for this because I wish there was something else we could have done. I love her soooooo much and miss her more than anything. RIP baby girl. I love you sooooo much and will NEVER forget you and our runs through the fields.

Thank you to all who have been offering advice and prayers. I guess God just had a different plan.

Im so so sorry to read this news but in the end you did all you could for your lovely mare and made the only decision left open to you. She can join her baby now.

Love and hugs to you.

Oh no hun, I am so very sorry to hear this after such a long fight. As Spaniel said, you did the only thing you could have done, and it was the last kindness you did for her. I wish I could offer you words of comfort to ease the pain, but this is something we all have to go through to whatever extremes. In my case, after 7 years I still shed a tear now and again, but the pain does subside with time which will be replaced with memories of the fun and happy times you had together.

If you want to chat, dont hesitate to pm me. Still sending healing vibes to you hun.

Very, very sorry to hear this. I went through exactly the same with my best friend in Feb this year so I know how awful this is.

You did the kindest thing you possibly could for your girl.

So sorry for you.

Oh no, i'm so so so sorry to hear that. I've been following your posts. Life is so cruel at times. I know what you're going through and it will be awful for a while, but you'll learn to deal with it. Just take comfort from the fact that your tried your very best and you absolutely did the right thing to end her suffering.
Thinking of you.
