Clandon Park Livery - Surrey???

Hi there,

I am looking to move my boy to a diy yard with floodlit school at the beginning of March and was just wondering if anyone knew of a working contact number for Clandon Park Livery in Surrey as they are meant to be a matter of minutes away from our house which would be just perfect.

Alternatively does anyone know any reasonably priced livery yards near Merrow (just outside of Guildford). I have a 4yo cob who lives out year round however it would be good to have a stable for keeping him in before shows etc. A floodlit school is essential as he is a youngster and I want to spend quite a lot of time schooling him, it would be good if there is an instructor available to help me in bringing him on nicely. And finally good hacking is a must. Ideally i'm looking for somewhere within a 15 minute drive from Merrow.

Would appreciate any suggestions

Can you not go to the yard in question? I spent the day yard hunting with a friend yesterday and we found loads more than if we had just rang around, just a thought.

I would but I'm currently stuck at home with chicken pox so was trying to be proactive from the house as I'm not sure my OH would know exactly what to ask. lol

I found their number, well the number advertised online but it just makes a funny noise, will be sure to give badgers farm a try though

good luck finding all year round turnout round here. i dont have any help for you, but was wondering if you find anything if you could post about it. i've just moved to the area and want to keep my horse out all year round as he's retired and doesn't need stabling, but i'd like a floodlit school for my new horse and a stable when needed. haven't found anything suitable yet.

It wasn't much use to me as it was a bit far out of the way but I know that Shey Copse Riding Centre has some grass livery available at the moment at £20 p/w they have a floodlit school and a xc course. They also had DIY livery for £30 p/w and are located in woking. The YO also has field livery in Send for £10 p/w however I don't think they had a school there.
