Hi there

I'm looking for a classical dressage instructor in the South Wiltshire area. I'm based just west of Salisbury but happy to travel a bit.

So far I've found on Google - Fiona Foy, Marcia Jean Cundy and Claire Lilley

Does anyone have any experience of the above, or know any others? Or indeed ones to avoid (maybe by PM;))

Would be very grateful for any help or advice! Thank you.

Hi, I go to a lovely lady, classically trained, sensitive and effective, follows the classical training scale, but, has experience of eventing as well and is bhsii. It has been such an eye opener for me, as until I found her I was getting nowhere fast, (less is definitely more!) www.freewebs.com/hilltop-equestrian/

Sorry if that doesn't work, I'm not good at links. It's Hill Top Equestrian in Pitton

Hi,
I was lucky to win a lesson with Fiona. I learnt loads, the horse hated it! He was a grumpy little Arab x who thought his life was just to eat and not move forward when ridden. A very useful lesson, learnt a few tricks but was seriously tried afterwards!
I have found Pammy Hutton to be very useful. Kennet Vale RC have monthly clinics with Pammy, £25 per hour for a group of 3-4 people.
I've not had a ridden lesson with Claire Lilley but I went to one of her workshops, very down to earth, likes to do everything via building blocks.
Another instructor I have enjoyed a lesson with is Holly Fortin. Only had the one, due to my horse's OCD and other issues. But within 45 mins I had learnt so much and the horse was pretty happy. Have a lot of respect for her as she has taken her own 3 year old through the grades whilst working full time.
Sorry for the long post!
