Classical Dressage?

Well my boy is being used in a lesson tomorrow as the usual horse is currently lame. Apparently the instructor teaches classical dressage but I can honestly say I have no idea how this is different to normal dressage...I just said as long as they dont baffle him too much then go for it! Im going to be there to watch...but just wondered if anyone on here does it/teaches it/knows anything about it?

My YO is a classical instructor and we have one of the 'greats' of classical dressage, Marji Armstrong, come over from Australia twice a year to do week long clinics

Oooh if he comes out looking like one of the horses on there I will be very happy haha! Im slowly bringing him back into work after lots of time off for various things but dont want to bore him so thought this might do him good, cant do any harm anyway (she says...). Just hoping he behaves...
