Cleaning Dublin River Boots

My method is possibly not the recommended one ;)
I use it on everything, DR, Dubarrys, ones without a name.

It involves a hose, a towel to dry them off with, and later, plentiful quantities of Dubbin.

You can probably buy all sorts of branded sprays, lotions and potions though. My boots last on average 3 or 4 years before they expire.

I second that.
Good old fashioned Dubbin all the way.

Don't have rivers but I've got ariat Windermeres and I dubbin them regularly, it's brings them up lovely, keeps them waterproof and supple. And it's cheaper than most of the branded stuff, I use it on all leather boots/shoes.

Hi Folks, can anyone recommend how to clean my Dublin boots please?

I also need some help with this.... the leather around my boots toes has faded quite alot (they are light brown coloured boots) does anyone know how I can get rid of the faded/scuffed bits?

Much appreciated x

Coloured shoe polish?

I have no idea with brown boots, when my black ones got scuffed I'd colour them in with marker pen :D:o

you can buy scuff cover polish from shoe shops. i put it on, let it dry, buff, then put on flexalan, let it dry, then dubbin.
