Okay, all my things have been in storage since november. Unfortunately it has grown mould on it.
I have thrown away the worst items (travel boots *sob*, two pairs of chaps *sob*, and a rug *sob*).
The rest of it is just dirty and smelly, no signs of mould as such, but i want to be sure there is nothing on it and is as clean as possible.

What should I wash it with? OH is being very understanding and allowed me to shove it all in a hot bath to soak. Can I use mild bleach? Or Milton or something?

If you have leather stuff with green mould on give it a quick wipe over with Milton (very dilute) let it dry and then just clean as normal with saddle soap. The green mould doesnt do the leather any harm, it just looks icky!

If you have fabric things like numnahs that have gone mouldy, a couple of runs through the washing machine will sort that out.

If you need to repolacve your travel boots Premier Equine International are selling off some old stock at the moment, unfortuunately only green left, but they're only £14.99p + £3.85 p+p.

Their stuff is great, I've got the boots, cooler turn out and jumping boots worth every penny
