Was just wondering if anyone knows when this was last up and running as an equestrian centre? I know they used to run competitions etc etc, but I cannot seem to find anything on it through Google anymore??

How big was it and how many stables did it have etc etc?

Nooooo! MM you don't go to the training there do you?!

Cleavesty hasn't been an equestrian centre for a few years now, last I remember competing there about 5 or so years ago I think?

Yes - I have a strong suspicion the training 'regime' (?! Philosophy?!) has changed somewhat in recent times as I've had that reaction from a few people! Very much based on a reward system & working within the dogs comfort zone! Big ambassadors of the yellow dog/scarf scheme too. We started in November last year, I think

Ha,I know she made my mum cry once and my dad was so incensed he went down to give the dog trainer a telling off! :eek3:

I had heard things had changed, just forgotten about it! :)

Wahhhh!!! I can't log on from home?! Eeek, SF, I really think (hope) it is different people who run it now! There are loads of different trainers there.

No idea of owner, sorry, but can ask Monday when I go? The indoor is still OK (I'd ride in it!) but the outdoor by the car park is fairly overgrown, the stables need rebuilding from what I've seen and looking on Google Maps, there's another outdoor I've never even noticed & we train on that side of the field!!

Hi,

Yes if you could get the number of the owner for me that would be great!!

Yes there are 2 outdoor schools, but they are very overgrown and neglected - the stables aren't actually too bad, they just need new doors on them and the whole place needs a good tidy up!!

Let me know if you manage to get her number

Thanks
Cara

I used to go there twice a week. For obedience and agility classes. Went for at least 5 years. Don't know about the horse side of the business though. Wasn't there a fire there?
