Cleo's and Sapphire's first lesson!!

I just really wanted to share my stepdaughters first lesson on the new pony today! Sapphire did not put a foot wrong despite being very interested in absolutely everything!!!
They only spent half an hour getting to know each other and doing walk, halt and trot transitions! I also had a little sit on her first and she is so lovely!!!
Anyway the best bit :)

Aw thank you! She is wonderful we were so lucky to find her!
Cleo is 9 and sapphire is 14.2. we wanted something I could ride too and something that cleo has some growing room with and she has been riding my sister in laws tb so she was confident on bigger horses. Temperament was the number one thing and sapphire has that :)
 
What great pictures! She really is such a pretty pony. Your stepdaughter does look confident on her, I think it's a great thing to get a bit of a bigger pony as there's nothing worse for a child than having to sell a much loved pony that's been outgrown. I hope she has years of fun with her! :)
 
Beautiful pony and beautiful little girl. They look really good together, Cleo's a gentle little rider and the pony looks as though she wants to keep her safe. What a lovely beginning.
 
Thank you guys :) I think they are going to make a great team! And yes we wanted a pony for her to grow into and so that the pony can be part of our family for very much the long term (aka forever) I schooled her this morning and she was amazing! A bit excitable on the ground but everything is still very new for her! She is going to have a relaxing day tomorrow and then a little hack on Wednesday :)
 
Wow, they look fab together :) And with her being a 14.2 welsh I'm sure Cleo will get loads of mileage out of her too - look forward to seeing updates of them out and about together.
 
Thank you dabdab! Yes Cleo has already said she would really like to do dressage and showjumping with her :) I am going to take her to a couple of intro local level dressage tests and a couple of jumping clinics as she didn't do a huge amount at her old home so want her to get some experience :)
