Ahh I see, I thought I was mising something. Glad I wasn't the only one and other people were brave enough to ask
What is the breeding of your boy? I am impressed he looks good for a 2 year old. My stallion didn't look that good at four.
Technically he's a 3 year old (3 in october) but he really isn't THAT well developed... he's still got so much filling out to do and a lot of muscle to put on. His ribs are just covered. you can feel them easily... just really fed hay but gets a handfull of healthy hooves with some equivite in for his vits and mins...
He is by Oakenbank Grenadier out of Thomsonbrook First Lady.
Oh, and yes, they have the most kissable ears. ;o)
As he is a stallion with excellent breeding I don't think 5k is too over the top, he has earning potential.
Want to see a couple of good pure CB's??

Donks half brother then - must be good!
I completely agree with you, so many stallions out there - and then my pet peeve when they geld they seem to disapear - geldings are showing the world what the breed can do. IMO and so many pure mares being put to non pure stallions - If I ruled the world you would HAVE to put your pure to a pure!!!!
