My little mare Bess was so very clever the other day I thought I'd share it with you guys.
I was free lunging her in the indoor school and decided to put a jump up to see what she would do. Well at first she was kind of sceptical about it but once she realised what I wanted she took great pleasure in cantering around the school and popping over it.
Anyways I gradually kept increasing the height of the jump until eventually she cleared 1m with miles to spare and enjoyed it so much she did it again without me even asking her!
I am so very impressed with her considering when I bought her six months ago she ran out at every little jump she saw.
Now the only trick left is for me to be able to be on her back when she does it!!!
Any tips?
