I use a elasticated breast girt and a a hunting breastplate to stop saddle slipping when hunting, but he's getting rub marks under buckles of breast girth, where it goes from elastic to leather... any ideas how to attach sheepskin, or what else could I use? thanks

Not sure which bit of the breastgirth you mean.....if possible you could try cutting the toes of a pair of socks and sliding them on? Or you can buy sheepskin covers for a breastgirth.....

just buy a normal sheepskin cover and cut a couple of small holes either end for the leather straps to come out to go over his neck, so the whole of the elastic is covered, if that makes any sense.

socks sound good, didn't really want a whole sheepskin cover as mud would be horrendous
