My first thread be kind please......
My 16 year old 14.2 middleweight cob has quite clicky front legs when he's been stood in his stable for a little while. He is a really good do-er but we work hard (diet and exercise) to keep him as trim as possible. No clicking when being ridden, no lameness, happy to work and seems comfortable. He is already on a supplement with glucosamine, msm, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid for support as he injured his check ligament two summers ago. Is this a sign of arthritis? Is it likely to be hurting him? I know my knees click when I bend down these days but it doesnt hurt me. Can I do anything else to help him? Anyone suggestions or experience?
Thanks
