Is it normal for colts to attach themselves to one person? My 2 yr old has gone from being a pony who a year ago you couldn't get near in the field....he was a semi feral and I don't think his previous owners knew how to cope with him....to a pony who follows me everywhere, as soon as he sees me he leaves the others and stands at the fence watching and calling to me, if I'm in the field he follows me everywhere....he's not invading my space he just likes to graze near me....and when I leave he stands at the fence calling after me until I'm out of sight. He's not like it with anyone else and he's not bothered by me making a fuss of the other ponies. I've never had a pony so attached to me before and I wondered if it could be down to him still being a colt? or is it just him?
