Hi

Just thought I would mention, go really careful with the clip reins and cheek pieces...

The other day I turned my back for a second and my horse got the clip from her bridle caught on the metal mesh between the stables. She managed to pull the 12ft metal mesh off of the wall, still attached to her bridle. As you can imagine it was awful, thrashing about in her stable until the bridle clip broke. Luckily she got away with a few cuts and bruises.
I know several horses that have become attached to different things with these clips, one to a partition in a horse box and one to the lock on stable door, this poor horse broke his neck and died.
Dont want to worry you but just bare this in mind I would hate this to happen to anyone else.

I would say never leave a horse unattended with a clip bridle or reins. We sell them, and have a few cheeky returns where the clip has mysteriously broken (usually means the horse was left tied up and rubbed and broke them).

However I use them with no problems, but then with a sweet itch horse I have to take the bridle off quickly and put it on at the last minute as otherwise he scratches and puts lovely grooves in the leather!!!

I never travel with any bridle on, as so easy to get hung up even with a normal bridle and I don't want my horse's mouth pulled about.
