Estate agents came on Monday. We don't have to do all the extra bits, just de-clutter(!) and tart up paint wise. The outside was painted last year, so that is fine. Daughter1 has nearly finished the garden, or at least the lower part of it, so not too much to do there. House goes on the market in February

box it up... then move the boxes... then you'll get to your new house, unpack everything essential and leave the clutter in boxes. a few months down the line you won't even know what's in the boxes, let alone care... and then you can put them in an outbuilding.... a year or two later, everything will be mouldy so you can take it to the local dump...
see... de-cluttering without having to actually DO anything...
