Is it frowned upon to take a shetland into a M and M class if it has been clipped except legs? He has a very very long mane and tail a clipped bridle path and is clipped all over to the top of his legs. I'm not sure if he is supposed to be shown "natural".

Probably meant to be natural, but I think its better if they're clipped - shows they're actually USED for something! Also means the judge can actually see its body rather than just a big fuzz ball...!
 
hee,hee....I clip my shettie out twice a year and he's never done a days work in his life!! except of course the job I bought him for...a companion to my others
