I have just had my heiniger delta clippers back from a £100 service. Although i have had them 10 years this is there first service :o and a few things look a bit iffy to me.

They have drilled holes through the outer caseing

Whatever they used to clean them has also removed the red heiniger branding.

I thought they would clean all the hair out of them:confused:

The laminated springs they replaced don't sit flush

The "driving carrier" doesnt sit level.

Should i be concerned or do they look ok?

I have Heiniger handy clippers. I would say if in doubt contact heiniger themselves or see if any on here has the same so you can compare them :)
they should remove most of the hair , yes does look and seem iffy . Have you tried to contact them?

Im not bothered about the hair there its just if they haven't cleaned the bits i can see what are the chances that they've cleaned the bits i can't?

I havent contacted them yet, i only got the clippers back this morning and don't know enough about clippers to know if i even have anything to moan about?

Send a pm to TheEngineer. He works in a clipper company and I imagine could give you an expert opinion on the work that has been done.

when i send mine for servicing and PAT testing they come back immaculate! not a hair in sight!!!!! i have mine serviced every year as i clip as part of my living and is req for insurance purposes! why have they not been serviced for 10 years? looking at your pictures it does look like a shoddy job..

Not impressed! We clean every individual component before a rebuild. The laminate springs do not look good and I would not be happy that all was well. That said, do they clip? Or is there a problem?

oh dear :( Before they went in they were making an awful noise when you put blades in them (didn't without) and would slow to a stop, they sound a lot better now but i didn't want to use them if i need to complain incase they say i have damaged them.

Not sure what i do with them now? I cant imagine the company are going to just hand my money back.

I will give them a chance to put things right before naming them but I looked through the old post for recommendations and there name came up several times!
