Clipper oil for sensitive skin?

Mine has allergic reactions to clipper oil, my vet advised not to use the aerosol clipper oils but instead the ones you squeeze out (if that makes sense). I have used the lister oil with no reaction and also the barrier clipper oil :D

I've had a Google and I can't seem to find any stockists of the Barrier oil, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I just looked on the barrier biotech site who make it and I think they have stopped making it can't find it on there anywhere, what's a shame it's such a good product:(

There's something called "Oil2Horse" (think I've got that right) which advertises itself as being suitable for using as clipper oil, as well as other topical applications. Basically its high-grade mineral oil (overpriced for topical use IMO but a lot of people swear by the stuff for conditions like mallenders etc). I did use it as clipper oil recently as I'd run out of the "proper" stuff.

Mebbe worth a try?

Oh that's a shame, I wonder why? Thanks for your help.
