Treated myself to a trip to your horse live next weekend, does anyone know if masterclip will have any there for sale? Wanted to look at the HD roamers before buying or does anyone have any recommendations for cordless clippers? Not lister or liveryman neither are great for the quality, I have the Roamer MDs for legs so just need medium/heavy duty for the body as my horse has a thick coat.

I'm looking for some new clippers as well. My liveryman arena's (bought about 20 years ago) just went with a bang. They've always run hot anyway. Hopefully someone will reply who has an up to date recommendation or you can report back if you find a good option at yhl.

For full size cordless clippers the Heiniger Xplorers are hard to beat. Spendy, though, but worth it.

Mine are several years old and the batteries still holds the charge as well as when new.

Go cordless even you have mains power, it’s so much safer and more convenient not to have a trailing mains flex when clipping.

Just gone for the Pros. Found a good deal online for 2 blades and batteries for a similar price to the Xplorers where in my local tack shop. Which is another rant in itself. How can there be so much difference in price because one is on an agricultural website and one is on an equestrian website. 🙄
