Another clipper question - but this time for some rechargeable clippers for head tidying and tidying fetlock hair. My long serving ones have finally given up. Have looked at the Oneisall ones on Amazon as have an Amazon voucher from Christmas but also looked at the Masterclip ones which are about £80. Thanks all.

I use a set of Clipperman Jewel trimmers to do head and fetlock tidying (and finishing off armpits and any other fiddly bits that my horse isn't mega keen on me attacking with the proper clippers). They were inexpensive and seem to be lasting well considering how coarse my cob's fetlock hair is. I've just bought a couple of new sets of blades for them as the blades can't be sharpened. They're definitely trimmers rather than clippers though.

I have an Arab so a fine coat. In the past I’ve used cheap dog clippers off Amazon but the last lot snagged his hair. I’ve just bought a pair of men’s beard clippers for £20 which seem to be doing the job

Liveryman nova are probably the best small trimmers around and you can purchase different length blades for them in addition to the graders that they come with. The regular 2mm blades are very short, I tend to use these on the shortest setting for edging lines etc but the 3mm blades match a medium a2 well or the newest 5mm blades leave a nice length on for a natural look on legs
